About the Artist

Suzanne Crawford recieved a BDES Hons at art college in Scotland -studying textile design- before moving to East Yorkshire in 2005 to work as a fashion designer where she fell in love with surfing. It was a natural progression to combine her two favourite things to do-surf and paint- creating art inspired by her own experiences of surfing.

"When I am painting I feel the movement of the waves...imagine surfing myself, although I can't do many of the moves the people in my paintings can!! Surf Art is my way of keeping that surf stoke going during those flat spells...and hopefully it will do the same for those who hang my paintings in their homes."
